TT Cut Technical Support
TT Cut helps you turn a long table tennis recording into individual rally clips and a highlight reel. Processing happens on your device, so speed depends on the recording length and your device.
System requirements
- iPhone or iPad running iOS 18.0 or later.
- Enough free storage for the source video and exported clips.
- Photos access when selecting a video or saving exports to Photos.
Quick start
- Open TT Cut and choose a table tennis video from Photos.
- Keep the app open while on-device analysis finds rally candidates.
- Review the timeline, swipe to keep or remove candidates, and adjust boundaries.
- Choose individual clips, a highlight reel, or both, then save or share them.
If a video cannot be selected
- Open iOS Settings, find TT Cut, and allow the requested Photos access.
- Make sure the video is fully downloaded to the device and can play in Photos.
- Close and reopen TT Cut, then try selecting the video again.
If analysis is slow or stops
- Long, high-resolution, or HDR recordings need more processing time.
- Keep TT Cut in the foreground and avoid locking the device during analysis.
- Check that the device has free storage, then retry with a shorter video if needed.
If rally detection is not exact
Automatic detection creates candidates and may occasionally miss a rally or include extra time. Use the trim controls to adjust a clip's start and end, add a segment manually, or remove an unwanted candidate before export. Clear lighting, a stable camera, and a view of the full table usually improve results.
If clips cannot be saved to Photos
- In iOS Settings, allow TT Cut to add media to Photos.
- Confirm that the device has enough free storage.
- Try exporting fewer clips at once, then save again.
